Jaroslav Baier specialises in acquisitions, including distressed assets, restructurings, and the creation of joint-venture structures, with a primary focus on venture capital and private equity. A significant portion of his practice is dedicated to advising start-ups, investing in technology and biotechnology companies, setting up ESOP programmes, and advising Czech companies on international expansion, which also includes his personal experience as a start-up co-founder. He also possesses extensive experience with restructurings and sales of non-performing assets, and with advising on complex transactions both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
