Petr Novotný is the founder and former editor-in-chief of the financial portal Investičníweb.cz (since 2009) and a partner at FG GROUP INVEST. Prior to this, he accumulated 12 years of investment experience in roles such as a licensed stockbroker and private banker at companies including Eastbrokers, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, and HVB Bank. He has served as a script editor, idea generator, and presenter for the programmes "Investorský magazín" (Investor's Magazine) and "Studio Burza" (Stock Exchange Studio) on ČT24, "Horký prachy" (Hot Money) on Prima, and "Podtrženo, sečteno!" (Underlined, Added Up!) on ČT2. He has also presented investment programmes on Radio Česko and Radio ZET. Furthermore, he was a script editor and presenter for "Investorský magazín" on O2 TV and "Byznys index Petra Novotného" (Petr Novotný's Business Index) on Televize Seznam. He is a co-organiser of the financial trade fairs "Investiční fórum" (Investment Forum) and "Trading Expo". He is a graduate of the American Institute of Arts and Science with a specialisation in portfolio management (MBA). He is also a co-founder of the private equity funds Česko-slovenský půdní fond (Czech-Slovak Soil Fund), Longevitytech.fund, Verdi fond farem (Verdi Farm Fund), and Czech Real Estate Development Fund.
