DOMOPLAN
DOMOPLAN, a.s., founded in 2010 by Tomáš Vavřík, focuses on the construction of high-value-added residential projects, primarily apartment buildings and residential developments. For its projects, DOMOPLAN seeks attractive locations with significant future development potential – the uniqueness of these places is then sensitively complemented by quality and timeless architecture. It is behind the Brno residences Starý Pivovar, Nová Líšeň, Hvězdová, Domino, Kopečná, the Kadetka apartment building, and Božetěchova villa. In 2017, the company was one of the first Czech developers to systematically develop the construction of aparthotels in the mountain regions of the Czech Republic. It focuses on premium locations in the Orlické Mountains and Jeseníky Mountains, where DOMOPLAN has built the mountain apartments Filipovice, which have been lauded by industry professionals.
The projects that DOMOPLAN has completed in Brno have earned recognition from the professional public thanks to their combination of architectural and craft quality. The Domino residential building was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2019. The Rezidence Starý pivovar received the award for overall winner from the expert jury for Real Estate Project of the Year 2021, and was also awarded by the jury as the best project in the South Moravian Region. In 2022, Rezidence Hvězdová received an award in the Smart Cities 2022 competition as the best project in the Project for cities with more than 200,000 inhabitants category. Projects currently under construction are also collecting awards. The Brandýská Residence Na Mariánské cestě became the overall winner in the Real Estate Project of the Year 2023 competition in the Architects' Award category and also received the Architects' Award for the best project in the Central Bohemian Region. In the same competition, the Lesní stráně aparthotel was also awarded, receiving the Expert Jury Award and the Architects' Award for the best project in the Olomouc Region. The Brno residence Pekárenský dvůr then took home the Architects' Award for the best project in the South Moravian Region.
DOMOPLAN is currently one of the most important developers in Brno. It is currently building the Pekárenský dvůr residence, Block A[rt], B80, Příční, and Žižkova here. In addition to Brno, it also implements projects in Bohemia, where it is building Scandinavian-style residential housing called Na Mariánské cestě in Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav in Central Bohemia. Furthermore, it is currently building two mountain resorts in the Jeseníky Mountains, Lesní stráně and Stará pošta, and is preparing another aparthotel project in the Bukovka ski resort in the Orlické Mountains. DOMOPLAN is also expanding its operations abroad. It is building residential housing in Serbia, specifically the Arboleda residence in Belgrade, and near Zagreb in Croatia, where the Samobor villa houses are being built. On the Croatian coast, it focuses on the construction of luxury holiday resorts.
Since 2022, DOMOPLAN has been a member of the FIPOX group.
In February 2023, the company presented its largest mixed-use project, BRIXX, in the Brno West Gate area, which, according to the 'work & live' concept, will offer over 500 residential units, as well as spaces for shops, cafes, offices, student facilities, and a medical centre.
Tomáš Vavřík also founded 6 investment funds, into which qualified investors can invest and participate in the returns of his projects. Among his most significant investment funds is DOMOPLAN SICAV, a.s. With an asset volume of CZK 2.3 billion, a risk rating of 3, more than 1080 shareholders, and a diversified portfolio of 14 projects, it ranks among the most successful qualified investor funds on the Czech market.
