StartupBox – a platform that helps Czech startups

The Global Investment Summit 2023 will welcome 50 leading investors this year, and will also host countless workshops, lectures and talks. And that's not all! It will also feature a unique competition for budding startup entrepreneurs, the Validation Contest, in collaboration with StartupBox. Are you interested in what exactly StartupBox aims to achieve and what the competition will look like?

StartupBox is a non-profit digital platform – online startup mentor, which is trying to solve the problem of the Czech startup ecosystem. The problem is that, particularly here, the same faces keep appearing in competitions and programmes. New startups are almost non-existent, and furthermore, startups keep making the same mistakes.

The project's goal is to help aspiring startup founders in the Czech Republic, especially first-time founders. The aim is to prevent them from making mistakes when hastily developing products. without basic validation and gathering feedback from customers. StartupBox mentors want to help them take the first step into entrepreneurship and connect them with the right people in the market.

The platform has over 3,100 registered users, with around 150 new ones joining each month. To help aspiring startup founders validate their ideas, StartupBox organises Validation Contest, which is an offline competition for early-stage startups. A similar counterpart is also Validation Challenge, when it comes to helping budding startup founders get from idea to validation, within their online learning programme they experienced mentors – By Pavel Bartoš a To Peter Mandić.

StartupBox especially wants Increase the number of high-quality startups in the Czech Republic, connect the entire ecosystem and thus move the Czech economy forward. At the same time, helping people improve personal responsibility through entrepreneurship.
